Letter from Our President:
Hello and welcome to Phi Sigma Rho! It is my privilege to introduce you to this amazing sorority of women in engineering and technological studies. Our core values push us to achieve academic excellence, provide service to our community, support benevolent philanthropies, and above all, become well-rounded women.
Today, I want to give you a glimpse of what it means to be a Phi Rho. It means that you will always have a sister by your side on the first day of the semester. It means that you will always have a study buddy for the tough chemistry and physics exams. It means that you will always have a sister ready to go to Dairy Kastle for a much needed study break and great ice cream. It means that you will always have a shoulder ready for you when you need it and a line of shoulders behind her if one isn’t enough. It means that your sides are going to hurt on a regular basis from all the laughing that your sisters’ cause. It means that you will wake up and your roommate/sister/best friend has made you your favorite breakfast before a big day at your co-op. It means that you will learn how to sew from a sister when you are making pillowcases, purses, and stuffed animals for those in need. It means that you will have a partner to dance your butt off at Raise Red every Spring. It means that you will have a support system of sisters pushing you to grow in your leadership abilities. It means that you will have the best possible college experience. It means lifelong friends and lifelong bonds.
I am so thankful for all this sorority has given me. I have met some of the best people I know & I have made connections with sisters all over the world. There are too many reasons to count why I love Phi Rho.
I hope you’ll come meet us and find out for yourself how extraordinary this group of ladies is.
